Okay ... here's my shot at trying to revive the family blog. Things are good here. I am learning that parenting a three-year old is a lesson in extremes ... extremely cute and extremely challenging. Most of the time he's cute, though. He's gearing up, in Roberts family tradition, to start soccer in a few weeks. Luckily it's indoors! We got lots of cute pictures from his birthday and of him dressed as a pirate (He's been into the "boy version" of playing dressup lately!), so we'll distribute the best ones soon.
Things are pretty good with me. I was excited to talk with my brother today in Paraguay. My parents conferenced me in for the big chat! He'll come home either right before or after Christmas. He's toying with the idea of attending ASU at some point which is hard for me to imagine since he loves snowboarding so much, but Paraguay is pretty hot, so maybe he's changing.
In other news, I've had a little bit of health trouble this week. I will be seeing another doctor this week, but I've been having some chest pain that they think may be related to my gallbladder. I saw the cardiologist this week, and after some tests, they've determined that my heart is healthy which is good! So, we're going to wait and see what the doctors say this week.
Matt has been watching a bunch of basketball lately and golf too. He manages to squeeze in the games with work. :) He's taking Jacob to the father-and-sons campout this weekend, so yay for them and yay for me! Love to you all,
Julie
